Please don't flame - 1st bday gift question
Everyone was so generous at Christmas we really don't need much for his birthday in June.
Any nice way to request bonds or money for his college fund?
Obviously if someone asks I will just tell them. But I was hoping to maybe stick something on the invite?

I am not flaming but I do not think there is really a nice way to do it. Maybe you could spread the word via family but I'm not sure I would even do that.

Yeah, that's what I thought. But I was hoping maybe a creative LIF mommy would be able to make it sound nice

Hmmm I'll let you know if I think of a cute little riddle but one way to start is spreading the word through your family.

You can set up a 529 college fund, and people can put monetary gifts directly in it. Obviously not everyone, but I would have no problem telling close family about it.

I'm not flaming you either, but I agree with Kerie that I don't thinkt hat there is really a good way to ask that.
Here's the thing with little kids, people like to buy them things they can see them wearing/enjoying.
My family is very generous with Christopher, but I could never see asking them this, you know?

I can't think of a good way to ask that.
You may want stuff for later this year. I would put away some toys and take them out when you need a change up. And if you don't have summer/outdoor toys already, I'd suggest that to a gift-giver if asked.
