Please help... bath for a 6 month old
DS just turned 6 month and bathtime is becoming a real problem!
I have big tub that goes on the counter that I would put next to the kitchen sick... DS is now getting too big and he splashes and kicks so much my kitchen looks flooded everynight when we are done. I tried putting the little tub inside our big one... but it KILLED my back I could barely walk the next day.... I dont know what to buy... hes not sitting up on his own yet... HELP!!!

The tub I used fits in the kitchen sink-that worked great until about 11 months-month than enough time for them to start sitting up on their own.

I got this tub when DS got too big for the infant tub, but I do use it in the bathroom tub. He was sitting up, but not well enough on his own for me to only use the regular bath tub. I am still using it at 9 months. I sit on the edge of the bathtub to bathe him.

I had the tub in the sink - does yours fit. It's still messy - but not as bad as if it's on the counter I think. I then put the tub in the real tub. Killed my back but I had no other choice.
I wouldn't recommend the inflatable tub just yet - another three months or so (and that will still hurt your back so it won't solve your problem)
