please help, im freaking out, re: marriage license and birth certificate!!
So I was looking everywhere for them and the remembered I took them with us on vacation bc my drivers license is my madien name and my we went to a park that was 2 and under free. So i took them in case we had problems. I ended up finding them in my toiletries bag, my dh never took them out when he emptied it. Now I can not for the life of me find them. I believe they are somewhere in my house, being that this was 2 days ago. my questions are: 1) if by chance i lost them outside of my house, which i really doubt but just in case, can someone steal mine or my ds identity with these? 2) how the heck can i get new certified copies? My dh and I were married in VA and my ds was born there also.
Please dont think I am a dumba$$, i am pregnant and have so much going on that my head is in the cloud a lot. Thanks!!

I don't think they can steal your identity with those things. They'd need your social security number. As for obtaining new copies, here's a link to Virginia's office of vital records. You can order them on the phone, online, or in person.

Take a deep breath...I am sure they are in the house.  Could they be with your insruance papers or other important documents like that?
You can get duplicates at the VA Office of Vital Records. LINK
Here's info about reporting your lost birth certificates.

Isn't mother's maiden name on the birth certificate & one of the main security questions?
