please help me choose a good brand...
im buying a gift for my brother and his wife and their little bean..
please tell me whats a good brand for a travel system car seat/ stroller

Graco is very popular. I have one and have been very happy with it. I don't think the Evenflo strollers get as high reviews.

I don't know anything about Evenflo. I have the Chicco Cortina Travel System and I love it so far, although I haven't actually used it yet!

Did they register for one? Some people can be particular about what they get, so I'd want to ask them what they want.
I got the BOB Revolution 12"AW stroller with the Graco Snugride infant seat that snaps into it.

I agree! We spent a long time figuring out what stroller and seat we wanted. (We finally decided we want a bumbleride indie in red, and a graco safeseat infant carseat)
Why not plug their names in on the BRU and BBB websites and see if they're registered yet....

they arent and wont be... ive asked and they are greatful to whatever we buy so im not really worried.. i will be picking out a handful of ones in my price range and letting them pick which they like. thay way they get what they want.

Chicco Cortina travel system had the best reviews by Consumer Reports. That's what we registered for.

oh, in that case....
I second the graco snugride and safe seat. both car seats are very well rated and reasonably priced.
strollers I'm a little more fuzzy on.....

I registered for the Chicco Cortina System. I loved the styling BUT I also found it to be more compact and "nimble" than some of the other stroller systems. Graco strollers seemed very big and clumsy and the Evenflo felt a little junky. Try some out in the store and see which you prefer. I'm psyched about my Chicco stroller though........I can't wait to get it!!

Strollers/car seats I think are a difficult item to buy for someone else.
According to baby bargains Graco strollers have never had a recall and are very highly rated. They also have top ratings in their two infant carriers - the snugride and safeseat.
