Please help me figure this out (food)

OK...I am on the verge of starting fruits and vegs with my DD. She has been on cereal for about a month now.

I'm not sure how to schedule her eating. Right now, I give her about 2 oz of formula, then I feed her her cereal, and then we finish the bottle. All in one sitting.

I am confused about splitting things up. Do I give her a bottle, then a few hours later give her cereal and fruit? Then...another few hours later, another bottle?

How does this work with naps? If I split things, it seems like she will constantly be eating. Right now she is up for roughly 2-3 hours before going down for a nap. Can anyone help me? I am so confused. Thanks!!

Here is what I do with DD...

Wake up---- fruit and oatmeal/cereal
6oz bottle is offered (i use the bottle to make the cereal so its probably 5 oz) She usually takes most of it.

1030/11- 6oz bottle

2/3-6oz bottle

5- veggie and oatmeal/cereal

630/7 bedtime bottle

I dont do three times a day yet but when I do I will probably offer her it before her afternoon bottle.

I'm BFing so it may be a little different, but I offer solids 30-60 minutes after nursing. If DS falls asleep, I either offer the solids to him after he wakes up or if it's time to nurse, I skip the solids. Formula/BM should be the main source of nutrition for the first year. For me, it's more important that DS gets the BM than the food.

With formula feeding, you can offer the solids shortly before the bottle.
