Please help me pick a color scheme that will go with THIS ugly wall color!!
Help me pick a color scheme.... pleaseeeee!!!! Someone anyone LOL. i'm so bad at this. We picked out a wall color that looked better on the swatch. We kept going hoping it would grow on us. Unfortuntatly, it looks much better in this picture then it does in person. It turned out to be an electric blue color :( Anyway, i'm stuck with it now. I want to pick a color to accent the room. My FH doesnt like yellow which is what I came up with. All my furniture is brown so I wanted to stay away from the browns as well. Do you think Green would look ok? but i'm afraid to buy it. i'm not good at this home decoratoing stuff! I figured if I got that, I could get green sheer curtains and some candle accents with a green matching rug. Problem is, I cant find that exact shade so I will consider changing my color scheme.... can anyone help me out??? I want to draw the color away from my electric blue walls!!! Image Attachment(s):

if you HATE it, i would either repaint the room a color that you LOVE or buy bedding (white, ivory, beige) that will tone down the walls.
IMO the bedding isn't a great match. you need to somehow utilize the blue (accessories, art, decorative pillows).

the pics should show now. I'm worried that white would get too dirty, too fast. is there anything else you would suggest?

i have this beige duvet and LOVE it. hard to tell from the pic but it has a slight herringbone pattern. i actually stole it from the master and have it at the foot of the bed in one of the guestrooms. awesome price now so i think i am going to buy another for the master.

Its beautiful. I am not too sure what a duvet is. Is it the bottom piece or the top piece? I also LOVE that picture frame idea thats above your bed. I think I may steal that idea!!!

a duvet cover is the removable cover of a duvet comforter. the duvet comforter is placed insise the duvet cover.
thank you. it is way cluttered in the pic (too much art). i have since removed the art above the bedside tables and replaced the art on the wall shelf.
