Please help me with amount of formula question......im going out of my mind
how much should my now 11 month old be drinking in a day??? he seems to be not wanting more than 4 oz at a feeding is this because he is now eating more regular food???
please post what your 11 month olds eating in a day PLEASE
i am not sure just how many bottles he should have a day he is curently on 5 and as of today we are only doing 4
i am soooo confused and nervous he isnt getting enough
could really use some advice

When Jake was that age he was on 3 bottles a day - about 8 oz's each.
Now my 7 month old is on 4 bottles a day and drinks about 6oz's at a time.

Well, it's been a while, but I believe DD was drinking 3 7-8oz bottles/day at that age. I think 5 is a lot for his age.

I think that it's normal for him to be cutting back. he's fine. They are supposed to be getting around 18-20 oz at that age.

do you think so  i think because he is drinking so little at a time he wants more bottles as
he will never eat 8oz in one sitting

yep thatys him he isnt passing 21oz total all day
i guess he likes little and often

Yeah, I guess that would make sense then. I guess I would just attribute it to eating more solids. Bring it up to your doctor the next time and see what he thinks.

That's how my DD has always taken her formula. She was supplemented with breast milk too so I guess she just got used to little bottles.
She drinks about 5 4oz bottles a day.
