Please Help, Rheumatology recommendation
Does anyone have a rheumatologist that they could recommend on long island? Preferably Suffolk County.

not in suffolk...but so highly highly highly reccomend. she calls back the same day herself and you get blood drawn there and next day you can get results. i went once..was fine...sent a friend who has RA and she is also in love with her

I have RA and my rheumatologist is in NYC. But when I was in the hospital in February, I was seen by Dr. Tan. I believe that is Smithtown. If you would like my NYC rheumy-he is the most awesome rheumatologist in the world-Dr. Frederick Ast.

I have been seeing Dr. Rumore for about 5 years. I have no problem getting appointments quick and am always in and out fast but not rushed.

I have RA and my rheumatologist is in NYC. But when I was in the hospital in February, I was seen by Dr. Tan. I believe that is Smithtown. If you would like my NYC rheumy-he is the most awesome rheumatologist in the world-Dr. Frederick Ast.
I would love to take my mom to the city for her care. Right now it's not feasible. I was actually looking to give Dr. Tan a call. Did you like him?

Dr. Tan is good...my mom uses him. I actually use his partner Dr. Khan...she is phenomenal! She is very thorough with all of her testing. After being in the hospital for three days, i was discharged worse than i went in. The day after, my mom called Dr. Tan but he was away on vacation. Dr. Khan skipped her lunch to see me and knew exactly what was wrong with me the second she saw me. They are both great doctors! They are at 222 Middle Country Road in Smithtown and the number is (631) 724-8900

Thank you!! I asked her attending physician to get a hospital consultation scheduled with Dr. Tan.
