Please hug your DC extra tight tonight!
Please hug your little ones extra tight tonight! My brothers very good friend is the student who was killed up at Albany last week and my heart is just breaking for his parents. Today was his funeral.
This past week has been so emotional and upsetting - last night when I got home from the wake all I wanted to do was hug my DS. I sat with him in his room holding him and crying, because I can't even begin to imagine the pain that his mother is going through and then it popped into my head that I am sure she sat with her son rocking him and holding - I don't know how to explain it other than to say that my heart hurts for his parents.
And to see my brother and his friends, 22 year old guys who have grown up together, went to school today, played sports together etc. crying and so visibly devestated is very upsetting.
Please say and prayer for him and his family and hug your DC!!
