Please! Ideas for table food! what do you give your DC?????
so DD seems DONE with baby food at almost 9 months. i hate feeding her-it is a battle every day  i am thinking she just likes feeding herself now but i am now at a loss...
if anyone can just list the table foods they give their DC to eat on their own i would greatly appreciate it! TIA!
we already do
cheerios
apple
peas
raisins
silver dollar pancakes
pasta

Sweet potatoes and carrots that are really cooked and diced, cheeses, turkey (cold cuts), meatballs, crackers, toast w/ jelly, waffle, canned diced peaches or pears.

Any type of fruit/ melon cut up.
Steamed veggies
Baby goldfish crackers
chicken diced
bagel
Breakfast bar
Puffs or veggie sticks

Over cooked brocolli and orzo or diatali pasta. Banana's and that's all I got because I was thinking the same thing as you

We always gave DC whatever we were eating, once they were on table food. Whatever you have for dinner, just cut it up in small pieces and give it to them. Even if they don't have all their teeth, their gums are extremely strong, and can chew almost anything (no gnawing on steak bones, though.... )

my dc love avocado cut up, banana, mango, kiwi, cereal.
we have a battle too, what has been working for me is giving them their own spoon (the curved one) with a little food on it, WHILE i still feed them. if i don't do this, they don't want to open up. it's like a protest to not being allowed to self-feed. it's a mess, but they are learning and i know they are still eating.

eta: they also love egg yolk, scrambled. not hard boiled.
