That's great news!! The same thing happened with my knee last year too. In a few weeks, you'll be good as new YAYYY!
Oh yeah I just remembered...my doctor recommended that I strengthen my quads more to help strengthen the knee. So I did that for the four weeks that I took off by doing a lot of squats and lunges...I think that really helped me too.

You know its strange...alot of runners recommended squats and lunges. When I asked the doctor about it today he advised me NOT to because it could irritate my knee more. Is that weird?
he probably wants you to rest first so you don't aggravate it. My boot camp class incorporates a lot of squats and lunges, so thats always a part of my work out.
my doctor didn't specifically say squats and lunges (when i injured my knee)...he mentioned sitting and extending the leg in and out and up and down (to strengthen the quad), which puts less stress on the knee.
