Not sure if you have a wireless router setup in your home, but I have my printer plugged into my router and print wirelessly with ease!
I have the Dlink dir 825, and it can take whatever printer you have as long as it has a USB connection.

I have an HP Photosmart -- and love it. Very simple and compact and it's great for scanning as well as printing.
This is a very similiar model to the on I have and is on sale for $69.99.

I have an EPSON Artison and it can be set up wireless. It's a great all in one machine.

Canon MP 560. Printer, scanner, copier and photo printer in one. I bought it for 80, but it went on sale for 30 dollars at office max during the black friday frenzy. I really love it. The only downside for me is that I went from a laser printer to the canon, which is an inkjet--more ink usage an not as fast. Other than that it's awesome.
ETA: And of course, wireless!
