Please recommend a family style restaurant for a party
We need a place in Queens or western Nassau - for 25-35 people that is good, but won't break the bank. I'm thinking private room or private area.
Suggestions please?

My bridal shower was at Il Nocello in Whitestone- they have an upstairs room- they did it as a buffet and it worked out well- my sister said it was under $25- they also let you bring in your own wine
also recommend looking into Cascarino's on Bell Blvd- I did my rehearsal dinner there and they were fabulous- they threw so much in for the price

LOVE Matteo's!! We went to two parties there and both were amazing!! The food and service were excellent!

LOVE Matteo's!! We went to two parties there and both were amazing!! The food and service were excellent!
Matteo's in Howard Beach, right? My brother used them for my nephew's baptism so I was hoping to choose a different place  Also, it wasn't private, not sure if they have a private room or there's maybe a minimum to use it.

They have two private rooms at the one in Howard Beach. I know what you mean about wanting to choose a different place. We always say that when we have parties there but we always end up there anyway. LOL
Carousello's on Crossbay also has a private room and the food is good too!

Piccolo Bussola in Mineola...really good and they do Family style.

Check out the George Washington Manor in Roslyn. Really good food and service and the prices are great!
