Please recommend a restaurant in western Nassau or Queens with a private room or area (for Christening celebration)!
I just set up DS's baptism and need to find a restaurant in western Nassau or Queens (church is in Queens).
We will have 25-35 people, but probably closer to 25.
TIA!
ETA: I guess it doesn't have to be family style, lol. I was thinking it might help with the cost, but looking into some places, it seems like that's not the case

What about Ginos in Bayside? I love them..have had alot of parties there...Its not family style but its sooo good.
Picolo Busolo is on Jericho Tpke in Mineola-ish
ETA La Parma on Willis Ave in Williston Park- YUM

What about Ginos in Bayside? I love them..have had alot of parties there...Its not family style but its sooo good.

ETA La Parma on Willis Ave in Williston Park- YUM
Thanks Bethany! Gino's looks like it's less than 20 mins from the church! It's Gino's Trattoria, yes? on 35th Avenue? They wouldn't give me pricing over the phone so I'll have to swing by on Saturday.
I couldn't find a Picolo Busolo, but found Piccola Busola in Huntington - too far for us 
La Parma is about 25-30 minutes away from the church so that's another option. Thanks!

Yes Ginos Trattoria is it! They are really good.
What town is the church in?

There is a Piccola Bussola in Mineola and I have been in the private room before.

MacArthur Park in Rockville Centre is great. They have a private room for parties. Food is awesome. It is right near the RVC train station.

I 2nd Ginos!!
Also Verdis of Whitestone has a restaurant section that you could use. Talk to them about Famliy style and what you want, they'll cater their menu to fit your needs.
Where in queens is Church? I'm trying to think of more

La Parma is a very good family style restaurant. They are in Williston Park, Oceanside and Port Washington.

I was going to recommend the George Washington Manor in Roslyn.
They have a room perfect for your size party.

There's also one in East Meadow.
And there IS a Piccolo Bussola in Mineola, thinking about them for our DC's christening.

I had my DD's Christening party at Piccola Bussola in Mineola (Jericho Tpke). It was very good. I will probably do the same for the new bambino.

We used Seventh St Cafe in GC. They have 2 smaller rooms (not totally private but secluded). Do you only want family style? The only thing family style is the apps.

Also wanted to add, with your amt of people, may be hard to find a private room. I had a similar amt and so many places wanted a much larger guarantee. That's partly why we used Seventh St, they have smaller areas for smaller parties.

I was going to suggest that too! I went to a rehearsal dinner there and the food was great!
Also Don Peppes in Ozone Park has really good food famly style but I'm not sure if they have a private room

Umberto's in New Hyde Park
I did my rehearsal dinner @ Mateus in Queens Village. Its a small portuguese restaurant that has a back room. Not the fanciest place but the food was good and price was cheap.
