When I worked in NYC, I used to go to Salon Ziba on West 57th Street & 7th Avenue. For their location they were reasonably priced and they did great job.

I used to go to Butterfly Studio - on 5th in the 20's. I also liked Lovella on the UES - I think 2nd and 68th.

I ONLLLLLLLLY go to TwoDo Salon. It's a great salon, less chi-chi than all NYC salons, but it's been rated one of the best places in nyc to get a cut.

They've been on Makeover Story on TLC.

I only go and see Sasha, but Art is supposed to be amazing too!

What are you thinking of doing with it? If you want to do a pixie cut again I recommend my guy (I have a mia farrow/jean seaberg kinda cut) Jairo at Helio De Souza on 59th and 2nd ave.

DEF go to Sasha. First time she cut my hair she had a blue mohawk. I was PETRIFIED. Best cut of my life. She really understands modern, short hair.

I had a gift certificate for a place called BELLAZZA..its a really nice place. I got a scalp treatment there and then a hair cut. Did a pretty good job.

i believe they're near Madison Square garden area...
