Please recommend a toddler travel bed, plus have a question

We have two out-of-state weddings when DS is 18 months old. The pnp only says it goes up to 35 inches, which he will more than likely be bigger than. Also, we don't want to travel with a pnp on the airplane.

DH just bought the aerobed for kids, but it says it's for 3 and up. There doesn't seem to be much of a 'lip' for a child that is used to sleeping in a crib.

I swear I've seen some inflatable beds with a larger 'lip'.

Here's the link to the Walmart one:
(What do you think?)

I'd use the pack and play. Are you staying at a hotel? They may have one.

DH's aunt brought me a porta crib, but it looked like a larger pnp.

I know my SIL and BIL have used the pnp for my neice as late as 2 and she is tall as well.

We use that Aerobed for kids with my 2yo son and have no problems. He sleeps in a crib at home and didn't fall out.

The biggest problem was that he would run up to it and flop onto it like a manaic. But once we turned out the lights he was fine.

Also wanted to mention that while it inflates up firm and all, it's still an air mattress so it's not easy for them to walk on since the air moves around a little.

I don't think you are near me, I'd inflate it and let you try it out with him.
