PLEASE recommend Nassau Pediatrician!!!!
Sydneys ped is old (late 70's at least) and is finally packing it in! We knew when we went with him that it wouldnt be long before he retired but if I got the a year out of him I would be happy, we got almost 2!
He is a wonderful man and scholar, all his patients have his home # etc. etc. he is always researching and truly loves what he does/did.
Anyway the time has come. With the new baby coming in November I need to move quickly! Please recommend your ped that you LOVE. We are in Oceanside. Thank you so much!!!!

I normally just lurk on here( Im a freind of Nrthshgrl) but thought this would be a good post to reply to since I know how nervewracking it could be looking for a new doctor.I live in Oceanside as well, I use Baldwin Harbour Pediatrics on Atlantic Avenue. Dr Jetter and Dr Chen are wonderful and are affiliated with at least 5 or 6 hospitals on LI. They are also open 7 days a week and are very quick to call back after hours. Hope this helps.

I love East Rockaway Pediatrics, on Main Street, 3 docs and a PA, I never wait for an appointment and they are very accommodating....

My nephew (who is 7) goes to this practice as well.

We LOVE Dr. Lisa Forgione in Rockville Centre. She is in practice with two other woman doctors, Dr. Fusco and Dr. Pellosi. They are all great. Evening hours, Saturday sick appointments, great with calling back, etc.
Dr. Forgione is the cousin of one of DH's best friends. She was also recommended by my OB who brings his three girls to her (and he didn't even know I knew of her through my DH).

We see Dr Blinderman in Hewlett - not sure if that is too far for you... The practice is Blinderman, Bryer & Olin.
We are pretty new to them as we haven't lived here since DS was born.
They have office hours 7 days a week! So no sick baby visits to the ER - they have saved us many a time!

We use Dr. Zaso in East Meadow and LOVE him and his nurse! I know a few other people on this board use him too. GL!

Dr. Staiman...he's in East rockaway....i think he has a bigger practice then when i used to go years ago....but all of my cousins 10 kids go to his office now and love him!
ETA: His office is now East Rockaway Piediatrics like the pp replied.

I'm in Oceanside too, currently expecting my first baby and have gotten RAVE recommendations on Dr. Amoona and Steinfeld in Hewlett. I've had 4 or 5 different ppl tell me separately how much they love this practice!!! So I'm checking them out, but just wanted to let you know...
