Please recommend restaurant for baptism in Nassau or Queens
For about 60-75 ppl, on a Sunday afternoon. The baptism is in Nothern Queens, so we would like the party to be there or in Nassau. Looking to not go above $30p/p if possible. TIA!!

George Washington Manor in Roslyn, they have a bunch of different rooms, really nice and reasonably priced.

The starting price at Piccola Bussola is 45. I checked it out just a few months ago. I agree with Verdi in Whitestone.

I just checked the web-site and the cheapest package starts at $33.95. This includes house wine and the cake. I had DD's party there in 2008 and I'm planning on having the party for our new little one there as well.
It was very good and you can't beat the price since the wine & cake are included. Piccola Bussola

Re: Please recommend restaurant for baptism in Nassau or Queens
A little further trek from Queens, but may not be so bad on a Sunday afternoon.
I had DS 1st birthday party at Sergio's in Massapequa. It's on Merrick Rd.
I want to say we paid around $20.00 a head and then an additional charge for alcohol. (We did carafes of wine and pitchers of beer on the tables)
The food and service is good, although the decor is a little outdated.
I want to say everyone had like 10 choices from a catering menu, plus choice of appetizer and choice of soup or salad.
