Please recommend someone to fix a heating issue
I am guessing we need a plumber since it probably has to do with pipes?
Please recommend someone we can call - thanks!

Thanks. I just did a quick search and found this saying they were deactivated contractors and are no longer accredited.

Re: Please recommend someone to fix a heating issue
Our living room and bedroom heaters aren't letting out any heat for a few months now. It barely gets warm at the touch - all the other rooms are working. And we bled them so that doesn't seem to be the problem.

That looks like a commercial enterprise where contractors pay a fee to be part of the organization, and if they decide it's no longer a benefit and drop their membership they are "deactivated" and no longer have BPI accredidation. It's not a government licensing agency so I wouldn't let that be your only determining factor. It may just be that they were not getting a value from the organization and let it drop.
We're in the midst of having work done - a couple of bathroom renovations, conversion to 2 zone heat, etc. We're using Chapman Services - Terry Chapman. (631) 433-5542

Thanks for clarifying! I am clueless with this stuff. And thanks for the info. I actually called Slomins, who we have our boiler with and they said we still have another year on our free contract - so they are coming. Thanks!
