Please recommend toys for Christmas for DD who will be 18 months
I am looking for some new toys for DD that she can grow into. So anything around 18 months or up.

DS was 18 months last Christmas and got a lot of Little People sets which he still enjoys, also Melissa and DOug Puzzles.

DD is 15 months (will be 18m at Christmas). She loves her playhouse, step 2 easel, and play kitchen already and she has time to grow into them. we have a baby leappad for her (used from a friend) she's not ready for it now but may be by then. they have the tag junior for babies now. i want to get her the zhu zhu hamster too and a bunch of crayola stuff b/c she loves art...colorwonder, that new thing that makes music when they color, etc. we got her some bath toys and puzzles too.

What do you mean when she says she loves art? I gave DD the big crayons and the colorsafe ones and she has tried to eat them all  she is 14 months now. What does she like to do with art?

My son eats crayons too. He stopped doing it around 23 months.
We got DS a play kitchen for Christmas last year. He was 16 months. He loves that thing! He loved opening the doors and turning on the light over the 'sink'. Now he uses it more appropriately, so it's something he is definately growing into.

she doesn't eat the crayons. she scribbles all over paper with them and likes coloring book pages too. i have to get her those paint with water books next. she did try to color the wall once but hasn't tried since! ha! i'll have to keep a magic eraser handy.

We got DD the Step2 Kitchen, Little People stuff, Melissa & Doug puzzles, Tag Junior.
