Please recommend your favorite Wii games
I just bought the Wii (I know about 2 years late) and Wii Fit. I have no idea what games to buy. I'm open to all suggestions since my DH is not a gamer. THX.

Boom Blox is a good dexterity game. It's like a type of Jenga, almost. You have various ways to remove blocks, either from stacks, or using balls, etc.
Mario Kart. Very entertaining driving game.
I really like Wii Sports. Very physical, but still fun.

Mario Kart and Rock Band 2 are our current favorites. We also played Lego Batman recently and liked it.

We love Carnival Games, Monopoly, Cooking Mama, Game Party 1 and 2, Mario Sluggers, Mortimer Spooky Manor game.
ETA: We bought Jillian Michaels ultimatum for Wii Fit. I tried it last night and it was not that bad. IT is a step up from the one that comes with the Fit.

CARNIVAL GAMES - especially if he's not a gamer...it's all games you play at carnivals (shoot the duck, frog leap, etc.)
game party - darts, shuffleboard, beer pong (but they call it ping cup), trivia

Puzzle Quest (once you figure it out, it's fun to do puzzles
Game Party is fun...but not if you're playing alone
I have others, but haven't really gotten into them yet...you're not late...I just got the Wii, too!

Seriously...it's life changing. DH and I bought Legends of Rock for really cheap at Toys R Us...I haven't stopped playing it the past two weeks!!!!!!!

We play a lot of the Wii Sports... and we like crazy golf (mini golf).
We also just bought the kids Wii OUtdoor Challenge - its a mat with a ton of activities and its a total blast!

SUPER MARIO GALAXY - seriously buy this game NOW. People are saying it's one of the best games of all time and I agree. it rocks!
Animal Crossing City Folk - highly addictive
Mario Party - fun fun fun!
WarioWare Smooth Moves - really fun and zany and really uses the Wiimote functionality in creative ways
Trauma Center: Second Opinion = perform surgery (though I think I like the DS verison better)
MarioKart, of course
If you're a baseball fan, I love MLB 2K8 (or wait for the new one).
Harvest Moon - Tree of Tranquility
Legend of Zelda- Twilight Princess
I got Cooking Mama for Christmas and I thought I would like it, but I don't "get" it yet. I also have Endless Ocean, which I think I will probably love, but I haven't had a chance to even open it.
Carnival games is fun, but it annoys me because of the little animation sequences between players that take too long (I am super impatient)
