Please recommend your laptop
So dh and i bought an HP laptop in Dec.
now in Aug it was having problems and we brought it to best buy to be repaired, after 6 weeks they have finally realized that it was a lemon and are allowing us to get a new one
so what laptops do you recommend preferably under $1000
we just use it for basic stuff at home, and our photos, my ipod,

well, I have different requirements for my laptop (needs to be high performance becuase I use it for imaging stuff at work....)
BUT, I can tell you that among my co-workers who use laptops to death and bring them everywhere, almost EVERYONE is a vaio advocate.... specifically BECUASE they have less quality control problems than gateway or dell. the only other brand that is even more reputable is lenovo.. but those are 
so if you can find a vaio with your price point with the specs you need, definitely go for it, even if it costs about 10% more.....

thanks i was actually looking at a vaio but have only had hps so i don't know anything about them, i will research them more online

We have a Dell, Gateway and Macbook and Macbook is by far the BEST!!!
