I'm anxious to see also, since we will need to replace our old model soon, and I want a French door with freezer on the bottom. Mary

Re: please recommend your refrigerator
stuff kinda gets trapped in the bottom drawer. a lot of your food is not visible when you open it which is kinda annoying and it seems like it holds less. we got a GE clean steel side by side when we redid our kitchen in january and i love it. the clean steel is so awesome bc it looks just like stainless but doesnt leave the fingerprints! well worth it

Hi, Nicole!!! We have a huge chest freezer, in our garage, and it's ancient!!!! I'd love to get rid of it, and get an energy efficient upright freezer for the basement. I like to buy some things in bulk, and I don't think all that stuff would fit even in a new French door/freezer on the bottom. I like the freezer on the bottom, so slippery things like ice packs don't have far to fall, if they do. And I like how the doors open, so there's more room to put things. Mary

Stacey, what size do you have? Right now things tend to get pushed back in, the frig., and we forget they're there, and they go to waste, which is not good!!! Plus, I don't like bending over, to see what's been pushed back in, that's why I want the frig on the top, so I can see everything. Is the GE STEEL available in a French door? I use to want stainless, but since I got my new stainless microwave, I don't care about cleaning marks off. Mary

Re: please recommend your refrigerator
We just upgraded to a french door bottom freezer, 28cf. It's Kenmore and I am seriously IN LOVE! Sears had a 30% off sale back in March so we bought that and another chest freezer.
I love that there is a lot of room. The cheese drawer/lunchmeat drawer is great, the crispers are big and the door storage is really nice. The only complaint I have is that you really have to make sure the doors are closed. It's not like a 1 door and it closes on it's own. It does have a beeper to let you know it's open, but still check. I love my bottom freezer! There is a ton of storage and it's much easier for me to get at then the top. I suggest a drawer style vs a door style. I love mine and hate my mom's door style. There is plenty of room and storage for lots of food. We did buy a chest freezer, but we buy meat by the 1/2 cow, and freezer fruits and veggies as well as food so we need lots of cold food storage.
I HIGHLY suggest it plus it costs $67.00 a year to run since it's EE.
