Please recommend your toilet for potty training.
DS tells us after he has a BM so we can change his diaper. A few times he has told us when he is about to go so we want to capitalize on it and put him on the potty when he does that. What is a good one to have? Thanks.

I've tried a few of them, and I like the Baby Bjorn one the best. It has a high back for when he is sitting on it, and it has the highest splash guard that I've seen, which is great for boys.

Re: Please recommend your toilet for potty training.
I never used one with either of my girls. Is he afraid of the big potty? If not maybe just skip the potty chair.
With my oldest DD I just used a dora seat that sat on the regular potty. She potty trained at 27 months old. My youngest never used anything on the big potty. She just used her hands for support. She was fully potty trained at 24 months old. This makes using a public potty no problem because they never use a "special" potty chair.

That is a good point. I asked him once if he wanted to sit on the potty and he said "no" really fast. I wonder if a character seat would entice him a little more. Who knows.
