Please recommend your toy storage bins/system and where you got them

Our family room is basically DS's playroom and his toys are everywhere. I "tidy" them up every night but his speech therapist says they need to be put away in bins so he is forced to ask for them, which makes sense. So I'd like to get them today if possible. He has a pretty even mix of smaller and larger toys...not that many in total though. Also, do you put books in storage bins too or do you have a separate bookshelf?

I know you mentioned you want them today, but I ordered mine off the internet from land of nod. DD's toys are in our family room too and its the first room you walk into. I wanted something more like a piece of furniture then something kiddy looking. Here is the link

Thanks, I love these!!! And I wouldn't mind waiting but these are more than I wanted to spend. I'll have to think about it though because we'd have them for a long time and to get us through DC #2 also...so it might be worth it.

Re: Please recommend your toy storage bins/system and where you got them

We got a couple of storage ottomans from Target and that's where we put away most of DD's toys in the playroom. She loves to take the lids off and take her toys out.

Here's a pic:

Once she accumulates more stuff we might get that storage bin thing that someone posted above me.

Ikea...love them. They hold ALOT of stuff...big and small. They also have girl color bins...not that you would need them...lol.
