Please recommend your tummy time/floor gym play mat...
On my way to BRU to return one that I'm just not crazy about... to many parts to assemble each time.
I could really use something that pops open and closed for quick set up and storage.
Would you advise the tummy time only things or the overhead ones. DS is two weeks old.

we have a floor one - Infantino Whale Tummy Time Mat
and we also have: Fisher-Price: Ocean Wonders Kick and Crawl Aquarium
she really likes them both honestly...i try to change it up every other day...

The kick and crawl is actually what im returning. Dont have the space to keep it assembled and I'd rather something that folded/stored a little better. I'll have to check out the tummy mat. I know I've seen a surfboard one.

activity mat by boppy. I love the mini boppy it came with. We use it with Ava all the time sinc 2.5 months and she's 6.5 months now.

We have this one also. DS loves it! He loves pulling on the elephant and watching it spring back up and loves the flowers b/c they light up when the music plays.

ds LOVES this one... sometimes we attached different toys to the hooks from it... it came with a part that actually lights up and i believe plays music too, and has a mirrored part

we had the baby einstein playmat but never used it for Tummy time. We had this one by Infantino for tummy time bc its the only one Eddie would play on and not freak out bc he was on his tummy. Image Attachment(s):

Hmmmm... so many choices! I actually picked this one up...
Step2 Giddy Up
It's cute and I love how it sets up, folds and stores, exactly what I wanted but seems kind of simple as far as interactive toys goes. Just may have to bring it back on my next trip and reconsider the FP Rainforest or the Gymini (I find myseld in BRU at least once a week now!).
And I really do looooove the surfboard mat but could not justify not having a dual purpose with overhead play! Ugh! Maybe those baby cards with checks inside will keep coming in the mail!    DH says I should buy diapers!

We have the baby einstein one and just bought some extra hanging toys to change it up and make it what my DD likes. Now her favorite place to sleep is on the mat.

We used this one and my DD liked it. However, I never saw her enjoy tummy time as much as when she was on top of the tissue paper at the Ped's office!! The ped even said that parents sometimes ask for a piece since that's the only thing that really interests their DCs, LOL.

Oh now I cannot wait for my next trip to BRU! I'm going to wait until my next 15% off coupons are valid.
I really should have splurged on the FP Rainforest and I'm going to check out the Gymini too. I really have a soft spot for giraffes and elephants!
