I see how the power of prayer on her works in so many ways...so if you can ladies please say a prayer for our little baby.
I just got a call from my OB saying that Baby B is showing Echogenic intracardiac focus which he isn't concerned about but it is a soft marker for genetic abnormalities. He is suggesting that it is something in his experience that he has seen correct itself and turn out to be nothing but that it puts me at a higher risk now for there being a genetic abnormality with Baby B. His personal opinion is that I don't do anything about it (amnio). My mind is racing and of course until I can get any confirmation that everything is ok I am not going to be able to calm down, so if you could please say a prayer for us I would truly appreciate it.
I will say a ton of prayers for you and your little one! My baby B (DD) had cysts on her brain that could have been a sign of Trisomy. But, it ended up correcting itself and she is a healthy, happy 5 month old now. Hang in there!!!!

My older son had an echogenic focus and he is fine. Happy healthy almost 4 yr old! Do a search on pregnancy.....lots of moms had to deal with something similar.
I will say that after a few tests my identical boys came back with a 1 in 5 chance of having trisomy 18. The doctor suggested an amnio and even told me to meet with a genetic counselor to discuss what life would be like dealing with the disorder...needless to say I was a complete mess. I declined the amnio and went the rest of my pregnancy convinced something was wrong.
Well, both babies were born completely healthy!!!!! No genetic disorders of any kind! Please stay strong. Alot of the times these things turn out to be nothing. You are in my prayers!
