She is in the ICU. The doctor said she has had another heart attack. It is her 6th heart attack, the second one in 6 weeks. She has been fighting this illness since August of last year. PLEASE PLEASE say a prayer for my mom.
Update: They moved my mom to a different hospital last night. The new hospital has a better cardiac unit. The good news is that her enzyme levels are down so the immediate danger has passed. The doctors are going to perform a catherization today to determine the amount of damage. At this point, she is getting so bad that she may need to move to assisted living.
Depending on how things go with the doctors today, I may fly over to Florida to see her this weekend. Please continue to pray for her. Thanks everyone!
2nd Update: I just heard that the doctors were able to SUCCESSFULLY insert 3 stents into my mom's artery. I am waiting to hear the long term meaning but this is the first time they have been able to open up the artery! The doctor wants to insert more stents on Monday but he said this was a positive step in the right direction.

Oh my! I'm so sorry to hear that. Hang in there. They need to fix her heart. Sounds like they need to get to the bottom of what's going on.
Thanks. They know what is wrong with her heart. She has three blocked arteries and her heart is only functioning at 15%. They have tried stents and they didn't work. Also, she is too weak for bypass. She has been part of a clinical trial to try to regenerate her heart muscles but these heart attacks are bad sign.
