Please say a prayer for my old girl (W/ pics)...

I don't want to get too into it because I am very upset, but long story short she is being treated at the vet (since Wednesday night) for early stages of kidney disease. She also has hyperthyroidism, and now, hypertension. She's going to need a lot of meds going forward, and the treatment she's currently getting didn't work as well as we all hoped (as per the phone call I got from the vet a couple of hours ago). She will be coming home with us tonight.
She's fine (meaning not in any pain) for now, so we will continue to treat her with medicine, but our time with her is certainly limited... whether its a couple of months or a year, we don't know. She will be 18 in March and will always be my first baby. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. We love her so very much.
Here are two pics from when I went to visit her last night at the animal hospital. First is when she first saw me walk in. The second is after I had been sitting there for awhile and she settled back in. I did NOT get a picture of her gnawing at the IV tape though! Feisty old girl.

AWWW  Seeing her with the IV is heartbreaking!! She must have been so happy to see you!!! I'm glad she isn't in pain and I hope she gets to come home soon!!!

thank you for the prayers everyone. she is home and sleeping a lot, but what cat doesn't 
just praying for her strength and for the medicines to work as best as they can.
