As a few of you know, I am having an amnio today. I had one last year when I was pregnant with my DD so at least I know what to expect. My appt. is at 11am. I truly believe in the power of positive thinking. I was hoping you girls could please send me some positive vibes and/or prayers that all goes well and that my little piglet is healthy. Thanks so much.
UPDATE: Thank you all so much for the hugs, prayers and positive thoughts! All went well today. The staff at Madonna's Brightwaters location were fantastic as usual. The doctor was very calm and laid back which really helped me to relax. I think knowing exactly what to expect enabled me to focus on my breathing while the test was being performed. Of course, like last year, it hurt life a motherfuccker but I knew that would happen! But, I will say that it hurt less than last year so that's a plus! The sono tech tried to check and see if we could find out the sex but of course his legs were crossed! Little stinker! lol. I have been calling DC a boy all along... We'll see if my mommy instincts are right in a few days. The doc sent for the FISH result so I will have prelim results and the sex in 3 days or so. I can't wait to find out what we are having!! Thanks again girls! You guys rock!!
