Please share your 9-12 month feeding schedule
The idea of meals/snacks/bottles is scaring me to death! How will she not be constantly eating? How much formula do I give her and when? Do you still do purees at this point?
Eeek!

Re: Please share your 9-12 month feeding schedule
Typical day, all depends on when she wakes up
7AM 4oz BM 8AM oatmeal and fruit + toast, waffle or pancake 10AM 4oz BM (10-1 nap) 1PM pureed meat and grain or vegetable + pasta, bread, steamed whole vegetables 3PM 4oz BM 5PM pureed vegetable, grain or yogurt 6PM 4oz BM Snacks like mummums, puffs, bread, crackers while we eat dinner 8PM 5oz BM
water from a straw cup all day
I feel like she is eating all day long and I have no idea if I am doing this right! Plus I have no idea how to go to milk!

Re: Please share your 9-12 month feeding schedule
This really helps.. so still jarred foods? And it looks liek most people begin and end the day with a bottle? I like that.. she wakes up so ravenous I can't imagine she'd have the patience for me to put together a real breakfast...

Re: Please share your 9-12 month feeding schedule
I find it pretty easy actually. She usually gets a bottle when she wakes up, then an hour or so later, breakfast.
She gets a bottle before her morning nap.
After she wakes up from that nap she gets lunch.
Bottle before afternoon nap
Wake up- snack
Dinner at around 6 pm
Bottle before bed.
She isn't huge on purees anymore- except in the morning she will eat cereal mixed with a fruit puree.
She loves yogurt- i get the 3 in 1 meals from Yo Baby and she will eat that for lunch some days

Re: Please share your 9-12 month feeding schedule
DS is 9 months. He still has a bottle first thing in the morning and right before bed. His schedule roughly goes like this:
7am: 5oz bottle 9am: yogurt, and sometimes 1/2 a stage 2 fruit if he's still hungry 11am: 5oz bottle 12:30: oatmeal, stage 2 fruit, sippy of water 3pm: 5oz bottle 4:30: stage 2 veggie, sippy of water 7pm: 5 oz bottle
He has some snacks in between meals also, like puffs or yogurt melts. Lately we've been giving him a little table food to try, like potato, chicken, cheese, etc. It DOES seem like he is constantly eating and we say that all the time!! He's a growing boy.

Re: Please share your 9-12 month feeding schedule
I guess DS (9.5 months) is a bit different because he's pretty much eating table foods now.
6-6:30am 8 1/2 oz bottle of formula (depends on when he wakes up for it, but usually within that half hour)
10 am- breakfast- yogurt OR cereal OR waffles with apple sauce OR bagel with cream cheese
1pm- lunch- cut up fruit & puffs or mum-mums (lunch is NOT always at 1pm. it depends on when he wakes up from his nap and can vary as much as 2 hours later)
4pm- 8 1/2 oz bottle of formula
7pm (sometimes 8)- dinner- whatever we are eating just cut up into smaller pieces (we've been eating much healthier thanks to this!)
10pm- 8 1/2 oz bottle of formula and off to sleep he goes
DS refuses most purees (except for apple sauce) and wants to feed himself. so we usually just give him his plate and small cut up pieces of food and he eats it by himself. he also gets snacks throughout the day (puffs, wagon wheels, arrowroot cookies, mum mums, raisins, etc) if he sees you eating he wants to eat too, so we eat everything quickly or during his mealtimes.

Re: Please share your 9-12 month feeding schedule
DS #2 will be one on 7/2. He has weaned himself completely. His schedule is as follows:
6:30- wake up and have 6 ounces of whole milk
8:00- breakfast (he eats this at daycare) usually consists of pancakes, yogurt, french toast, oatmeal with fruit. Any meal always has fruit
11:30- lunch at daycare. I send food but he also eats whatever they have there. I send yogurt, pasta, turkey meatballs, macaroni and cheese. All are served with veggies
he has snack a few times there
3:00- 6 ounces of whole milk
6:00-6:30- dinner with a sippy of whole milk (about 6 ounces). Dinner is generally whatever we are eating. He has pretty much refused to eat baby food.

Re: Please share your 9-12 month feeding schedule
DD will be 1 next week.
Wakes at about 6:30am.
Breakfast at about 7:45am-- jar of fruit, then whatever carb we're eating (waffle, bagel, toast); also whatever fruit we have been eating (banana, apple, strawberries, etc). Cheerios always given as a snack after.
Bottle at about 9:30-9:45am- 7 ounces of milk. Had been exclusively pumped BM up until about 2 weeks ago, when my supply dropped. Now she's getting 4oz of BM and 3 ounces of whole milk per bottle.
Nap after bottle.
Lunch around 12:30pm. YoBaby fruit/veggie yogurt and whatever we're eating for lunch-- pasta, veggies, fruit, etc.
Bottle at about 2:30pm. 7 ounces, same as above.
Dinner around 6pm. Jar of veggies, then whatever food we're eating for dinners. Usually a meat, some veggies & fruit, etc.
Bottle at bedtime, 7:30pm. 7 ounces, same as above.
She's been at this type of schedule/quantity for some time now.
