Please show me your entryway chandelier/pendant light
The place we're in contract with has a HUGE window as you're going up the stairs to the bedrooms. We need a nice light fixture to hang in front of it. Show me your light fixtures for your entryway and staircases for ideas (and where you purchased them too).
TIA!

Re: Please show me your entryway chandelier/pendant light
I haven't closed yet, but we have a huge entry way window and no light either. So we ordered this

It's Golden 6005-9 Lancaster RBZ (rubbed bronze.) I believe it comes in pewter as well.
It's about $350.
What I did was go to a local lighting store (I'm in NY, but not LI) had the salesperson help me figure out size, etc. She gave me some books to take home and look through. Once I figured out what I liked, I searched online found the cheapest price and they matched it. I liked dealing with a local lighting store because they replace it if it comes broken and will take back certain pieces to put in their showroom if i end up not liking it. Online returns are a hassle!!

I highly recommend this online outlet.
http://www.lightnleisure.com/
I have used them for a number of my houses. Great customer service. Fantastic pricing with no tax and free delivery.
If something shows up damaged (like a glass globe), they ship the replacement part free of charge. No need to return the light. I even bought a light I was not happy with and they let me return it for store credot on another light.
I have this chandilier
I installed bulbs like these in the globes.
Philips LED bulb
My chandelier has 21 lights I believe. Running 40w bulbs equals 840 watts of power. A lot! With my LEDs... I only run 54 watts instead. They will last longer (probably as long as I live here), and i'll never have to get on the ladder to change them. Better than CFLs too.
One of these days i'll get around to taking a picture of the chandilier lit from the outside because it looks awesome!
