Please suggest a hairstyle for my 13 year old nephew...
Please suggest a hairstyle for my 13 year old nephew... His current style is NOT working for him anymore... He said today at dinner that he is getting made fun of at school  . I was possibly going to take him to my hair stylist for a "makeover" - LOL!
Please suggest some cool "boy" styles!

im kind of old fashioned but i would personally take him to a barber and let him get a real boy cut - not a "style"

Awww I feel bad he's getting made fun of. How about longer and spikey on the top and very short on the sides and back? Then he can style up the top-- make a faux-hawk or whatever.

I am hairdersser and I totally get that he was going for that longer style that alot of the boys are going for lately. But he is being overwhelmed by his hair. I think a shorter cleaner look would be better for him, he has an adorable face.
Let me add that you rock, you are an awesome aunt, looking out for him!

I agree. He has a ton of hair! Maybe it just needs to be thinned out and cleaned up a bit if he wants to keep it long.

I think he should go to the hairdresser and ask for a messy surfer, this way he can keep the length and get it layered. My son is only 3, but he has a ton of gorgeous blond hair, I always ask for a messy surfer, and its great. Your nephew has TONS of hair, and he would look adorable with this kind of style...
