Please suggest venue for 1st Bday in April

We were going to do a big party in my parents yard w/ a tent, etc.. Now I am second guessing that. The party will be mid April, and I am worried about the weather. Looking for a hall now in nassau or western suffolk. Any good suggestions? Pricing is a plus? The theme is Ava in Onederland if that matters.

Just an FYI, I think you are making a good choice. April is sooooo iffy. Last year DD#2's birthday was April 18 is was in the 40's outside. We crammed everyone inside. The kids did go out a little in the yard but the parents were NOT happy having to go out to watch them. We were FREEZING.

My dd's first birthday last yr was april24th. It was really challenging find a venue. I literally called 100 different places. Most of them were booked for communions and the others were too small or made you buy their food and it was expensive. I ended up finding a place but it was very time consuming and stressful. Good luck and I hope you find a place.
