Please tell me there is a Cliff's Notes version of Baby Bargains?

I am impatient and a little lazy... Or maybe I am just overwhelmed. I just got my copy and I am surprised at how big this book is.

Can someone just tell me what brands to register for-- I can pick out my own patterns. Chat Icon

There are different brands/models that are better for different items. I think at the end of each section there is a chart listing all the products and their rating, (A, B, C, D, etc). That's probably a good summary.

It's fine... it's not meant to be read cover to cover..... just look at the section you need at the moment, and leave the rest for later.

generally, there are a few pages of background on a topic (ex. furniture) and then they go through the brands. Ignore most of the brands, and only read the ones that have good grades / the brands you are interested in.......

the desnest chapter I believe is for strollers.. but it was also the most useful!

I am just taking it a little bit at a time -- we just picked a car seat and now I am ready for a break before we pick anything else! Chat Icon ITA -- it's really overwhelming all at once Chat Icon

It's overwhelming. I sat there with a pen and underlined several of the brands I was considering. I also took the book with me when registering so I could read some of the reviews of the products.

Try to read one section at a time. At the beginning, I focused on car seats and strollers since those were some of the bigger items I wanted to get out of the way.

It's hard to just name a brand for a particular product b/c everyone has different needs.
