We just watched this movie a few weeks ago. Very eye-opening. So much so that DH and I have committed to only buying organic (as much as we can). We buy all of our produce from Cross Island Fruits and our meat from Wild By Nature. I'd also like to try and start going meatless one day a week but it might be hard with my Irish DH

Where can we get grass fed beef? Everything we find says "vegetarian" fed.

AWESOME CATCH!! I forgot to mention that little scam - that can mean they feed corn. I love the site EatWild for info, it's what got me wanting to eat grass fed from an animal humanity standpoint and they have a vendor list, too.

We order from US Wellness - they ship it on dry ice and we haven't had any problems with thawing... but we haven't ordered in August yet...  :

We are HOPING whole foods might have grass fed - we have one opening by us in Lake Grove soon – anyone know if they have grass fed?? Also, I keep asking the butcher I go to and he’s considering carrying it – some butchers may actually already have it if you call your local ones & ask.

Whole foods does carry grass fed beef. I go to the one in Oyster Bay.
For poultry I go to Makinajian Farms(I think it's considerd Huntington). That's where I get my eggs, grass fed milk, and poultry items.

I watched this - it was very interesting!!
I already - to a large extent - eat all organic meats, free range etc.
But now, after watching this I am also trying to stay away from Soy.
