Macys Old Navy Believe it or not, sometimes Gap
There are not that many choices IMO and I refuse to step foot in LB or Avenue.

Actually when I went to NJ I found soem REALLY cute clothes at LB. Avenue I can't stand. I have bought a few things there, but I don't even think the quality is that good.

JC Penney has nice stuff. I like Avenue, too because they are cheaper than Lane Bryant.

Oh yeah I am sure they have cute stuff, its just that I gave all my stuff from there away when I lost 60 lbs. Then I gained it all back so I make myself suffer by not making it easy on myself to get clothes and just go there! Yep I am a little wacky.
Ive also found a few nice pairs of pants and things at Strawberry.

I hear you! When I was a 14/16 I promised myself I would never shop there, thinking it would be an incentive...now that I'm an 18/20 I have no choice

Work clothes are so hard for me. I don't like LB for work and Avenue is the WORST! If anyone has good recommendations, please let me know!

Talbots has plus sized clothing and good quality. But the prices aren't cheap.

I friend of mine said Macy's seems to have expanded its Women's department. I haven't been recently , but the flyer I got in the mail seemed to have some nice things.

Not to hijack - but what about the short plus size girls out there? Where do you go for cute stuff? I cant even shop at LB because I'm only 5 ft and everything either swims on me or looks like Im playing dress-up.

This is my problem. I seem to do okay at Macy's and if I shop online at JcPenny... I bought a ton of petite plus size pants (St. Johns Bay) for the Spring/Summer and they are not too long. I did the same thing in the winter and bought a bunch of nice cords that I could wear to work. (also St. Johns Bay)

You should try Clinton's Pics
I think the unfarty plus size is a new thing at Macy's.

Re: Plus size hotties..where do you shop for work clothes
I live at LB. I like their work clothes. I am 5'2" and get their petite pants. They usually fit ok - sometimes I just get stuff taken up.
I also like Macy's sometimes - Alfani, INC and Nine West have good lines.
I also like JCPenney. It's hit or miss for me, but its really cheap - esp when they have a sale!

I know...this is quite a bump, but I thought it was worth bringing back.
I wear an 18/20 (and I'm very proud, I used to be around a 24). I absolutely LOVE Lane Bryant, and if you have one of those amazing coupons, you can really do well there.
I also love J. Jill.
AND Old Navy (who, by the way, is having an AMAZING clearance sale right now, and I find that the larger sizes are always the last to go..)
