Poland Spring Home Delivery
Does anyone have or think it is worth it for the home delivery system.
(3)-5 gallon bottles and the dispenser for 28.98 a month?
Wondering if we would drink more than that in a month (currently we are buying 4 cases of .5 liter bottles of water a month)
Do you have a toddler? Would this be a mess waiting to happen?

Re: Poland Spring Home Delivery
We've been doing Poland Spring Home Delivery for years... ever since MTBE was found in our drinking water - like that day I got it.
Since then we've moved, but kept up the deliveries. I really love it.
We have a toddler & there are safety faucets so he's not using the water himself.

Re: Poland Spring Home Delivery
DH bought our water cooler, I think he bought it in Target many moons ago. It was relatively inexpensive.
We used to have an account with Chester Mountain water, which was bought out by Crystal Springs. I believe he gets five 5-gallons every so often - he picks it up himself instead of delivery because he didn't want to be tied down to a delivery schedule. sometimes he goes through the water in 2 months, other times, 3 months.
For the record, I drink tap water.

Re: Poland Spring Home Delivery
We have it because the water in our apartment is not fit for ingestion. The cooler is in the kitchen, which is locked off with a good baby gate so DS (who is almost 3) cant come in. With us it was a necessity. We get 5 bottles and a case of portable water bottles too. Worth it.

Re: Poland Spring Home Delivery
We bought our own cooler in Loews that also has hot water, which is great for cooking, tea, etc... This cooler is has a lock feature so kids cant operate it. We get the poland delivery and inleu of their cooler we get a free case of water. We also get the little flouride water bottles delivered each month. To answer your original questions, yes def worth it for us.

Re: Poland Spring Home Delivery
We've had it for about 7 years now. I'm suspicious of the LI water.
We get 4- 5 gallon jugs a month for 5 of us (one is only a year). it usually just works out for us.
There are child proof nozzles that are super easy for adults to use with one hand, but the kids have never figured it out.
