Essex Steam Train always gets rave reviews, we are doing it for the first time this year. Tickets went on sale a while ago though, so not sure if they have any left.

But I know all shows/rides are sold out...someone I know tried this week to get tixx
If we couldnt get that one we were going to go to the one in Utica

Not sure about tixx for that one!
I hope the one in NJ is equally as good! I have only heard about the one in Utica and they said it is well done!

Berkshire Scenic Railway up in MA. It's about a 3 hour drive from NY, a little less if you're closer to the City.
