how about white garland?
For indoor banister:
I'd dress it up with burgundy and cream accents.

I definitely don't like the white, but I kind of do like the gold. If there is any time of the year where you can get away with "flashy", Christmas is it. But from the way you describe how you'll be using it, I don't even think that'll be an issue.

I voted Yay! I think that the gold would look really nice on an inside banister but I am very flashy, LOL!! I think that white would look cheap on the banister and that the gold would look nice with the right accents!!

I like the gold. I have some gold/red garland that looks nice (I used it to decorate the car a few years ago for some car shows).
