POLL: Kids' bathroom
Kid related, so that makes it Parenting related, right?  It's a home question but a parenting question too. I expect to see this in post purgatory at some point today but I'll start here.
Anyway, we have 3 full baths in our new home (well, what we expect to be our new home come July 31st) so that means we can have a kids' bathroom, which I'm oddly excited about Which of these do you think is cuter?
ETA: I want it to be bright so if we do the monkeys I'll probably paint that orange of the tucan's beak and if we do the sealife I'll paint an ocean-y turquoise.

Me too DH and I kept envisioning this cute fish bathroom and then I came across the monkeys and it might be the cutest thing ever, the rug especially!

I'm starting to think about a theme for DD's bathroom, too--I'm so excited that she has her own space that we can make kid-friendly for her

If its a bright bathroom I would go for the monkeys but if is dark (has no window) I would go for the fish to brighten the room.

I'd say monkeys. Fish/water/aquatic is done a lot, so the monkeys will be something different.

I did the monkeys so I say go for that! I got my set online but I know Target has a similar set that is really cute.
As far as the color goes, I think you might get sick of that bright orange very quickly. You might want to think about doing the green color instead

I'm totally a fish person.... even *I* say monkey all the way!
for me, the fish pattern is so kiddish that it's almost not adult friendly.... but the monkeys are cute, playful, and more neutral, so more pleasing to the adult eye, KWIM?

I looove the sealife. It's so bright and cheery! We keep our kid's towels stored as rolls in a stack in the upstairs bathroom and they are all in these bright, cheery colors - they would go so nicely with that decor!

I love the monkeys too but I would paint it the yellow in the banana's. I love color and have a lot of in my home including orange and I think that might be much of a color for a bathroom.

We did the fish theme for the upstairs bathroom. Lily doesn't use it yet, but I had to get rid of the Christmas shower curtain at some point, so last month I replaced it with a sea life themed one
Either one is cute though.....
Lily also loves frogs, so that led most of the decision! I let her pick out the shower curtain.

Good call on the banana yellow - I didn't even notice those. I was also thinking the blue in the bottom flowers but I think it may be too dark with all the green and brown.
If we do monkey, that is. What a nerd - I am so flinging excited about this bathroom
