Either at the farm stand on the corner or at the grocery store. And of course. there is always the Mother's Day flower sale at the kids' school where they get me my hanging baskets each year.Chat Icon

I grow mostly perrennials but I but impatiens and a few other annuals at local nurserys. I try to stay away from flowers at the big box stores because I find that they dry out and die too soon. I dont know if they are taken care of like they are at a nursery. I also bought a tree and a few plants from greenwoodnursery.com

They were excellent to deal with. Their customer service answered all of my questions and the items I ordered were packaged so nicely.

I don't/can't plant.

I planted black-eyed susans last year and they DIED. They're weeds for crying out loud.

This poll depresses me. Chat Icon

You're not alone. My front flower beds are empty (except for some weeds). We have 1 Japanese Maple and that's it.

More and more we use Home Depot.

I know it's a sign of the times but some of the local nurseries have just gotten so much more expensive. We've always had good luck with the flats from HD.

There's a couple guys that set up in a lot near my house and sometimes I'll go there too.
