Poll: sandwich bags or tin foil
which do you put sandwiches in? i use bags b/c its neater. plus my mom never used foil when we were kids. dh does and to me it makes no sense.

I use foil-- I make the sandwich on the foil, then just wrap it up-- faster in the AM and I dirty less things.

I prefer foil, because when you open it up, it makes its own plate! I tthink it also helps a little with keeping it from getting squished.
And , if I bring it home its recyclable,( its not at work) but I never do.
ETA- and as Randella said, I also make the sandwhcih on the foil.

i use foil mostly but I found that using wax paper helps it from getting soggy in the fridge.

I only use sandwich bags. I never even thought about foil. I guess I don't think it's really sealed until I see it completely sealed.
I make my sandwich on a papertowel & include that with my lunch as a napkin.

Most of the time sandwich bags, but if I make a sandwich on hoagie/hero bread then I'll use foil. Also sometimes I'll make an egg sandwich for breakfast and I'll put it in foil to keep it warm.

I use foil, it's much thicker and the sandwich doesn't get as smushed. But my mom used to use baggies when we were little.

We put ours in plastic containers. We wash them 1-2 times a week in the dishwasher.

I use tin foil, although I grew up using sandwich bags. To me it is a little sturdier than bags I guess, and the way my lunch bag is I have to sit my sandwich up rather than lay it on its side and I feel like the foil holds it up better. Does that make any sense???
