You know my answer  I fasted for approximately 12hrs... the lab said at least 4 hours fasting

Didn't fast what-so-ever. I had a nice big breakfast the morning of...but once I drank the drink I wasn't allowed to eat anything until after the test.

I was also told by the lab that you should not do much after drinking it, she mentioned if you are too active that you could throw off your blood sugars.

If my OB went with the American Diabetes Association cut off of 140, I would have passed. She uses 130 and I failed with a 138. I have tried 3 times to go for the 3 hour, but I haven't been able to fast for it. I suffer from Hypoglycemia. I don't want to screw things up. I have been testing myself 4 times a day and my numbers are great.

I had to stop eating one hour before I drank the drink, then I only had to drink half of the drink. I voted-did not fast and passed.

i wasnt told to fast by my dr. however my appt was for 8:15 am so i stopped eating by 8:30 the nite before b/c thats usually what i do. I wasnt sure if i could eat or not before the test so i didnt just to be safe.
the instructions on the glucose bottle and the lab tech said you're supposed to fast for 12 hrs prior.
would be nice for the dr. to tell me i had to do that.
