Poll: Which name combination do you like better? Please read explanations too!!
We are having such a hard time with a girls name, but Addison is one possibility. Im choosing the middle name not because I think it sounds the best but because it has meaning....my moms name is Mary Ellen and my DH's moms name is Rose.
My reason for going with Rosemary would be because its a real name and my reason for not going with it is because it makes me think of Rosemarys baby...
My reason for going with Mary-Rose would be because I like the name better and my middle name/confirmation name is Mary Rose and my reason for not going with it is because I dont think thats a real hyphenated name, so Id kind of be making it up and it puts my mom first when it isnt a real name( I dont want people to think I didnt use Rosemary just to put my mom first)
Anyway...what do you think?

I picked Rosemary b/c I think it rolls off the tongue smoother than Mary-Rose.

I say go for Mary-Rose, your explination is all positive and the rosemary you have a negative. You sound like you already have decided. I say go with what you think, it sounds beautiful and has a beautiful meaning behind it.

Either is pretty, but only you & yur DH have to love the name of your baby!
I never would have even thought of rosemary's baby, but if a name makes you think bad, then don't do it.

I think Mary-Rose : since its dashed may cause problems on applications and such, that is why I selected choice #2
