Polo/Ralph Lauren Baby Clothes
I knew their stuff ran small, but this is ridiculous. The dress I put Sasha in to take pics last night is a 3M size. Sasha is 2 months and is in the 56th percentile for weight and length shouldn't matter for the dress-- so it's not like she is a huge baby.
Anyway, I couldn't even get the top button closed around the neck... what's up with that?? I wanted her to wear that outfit on Passover-- and she has never wore it before. What a waste of $$

LOL my babies are 3mo and the stuff is still huge on them! Maybe you can exchange for a larger size?

Well, it's been washed and the tags are off... and it's now been spit up on. I don't think they would take it back.

Re: Polo/Ralph Lauren Baby Clothes
The sizing was always ok to me, but I hated that they put the buttons on the BACK of a sleeper! How DUMB

Re: Polo/Ralph Lauren Baby Clothes
my son was a preemie and still took a bigger size in Raphie stuff. Now I buy things almost a year bigger for him (he wears 12-28 months and I buy him 2T)

Re: Polo/Ralph Lauren Baby Clothes
always buy 3 months biger than what she is in..
so if she is in 3months, buy 6 or 9 months...
Chloe is in 6-12 month clothing riht now depending on brand... so for the summer, I bought her 18 months in the cute little tennis dress that they show..

Re: Polo/Ralph Lauren Baby Clothes
I've had the same problem -- they are very narrow. You have to go up at least two sizes!

They run so small. The guy at the outlets told us to buy at least one size bigger than normal clothes.

Re: Polo/Ralph Lauren Baby Clothes
They run small for boys too - I had that problem when DS was young and would always buy one size bigger. It's strange though I have found that the very small sizes run small but as DS has gotten older and into 12 mo and 18 mo and 24 mo sizes I find they are now true to size or even a little big! For some stuff but not others! It's a pain and I try everything on him b/f I take off the tags and wash it.

Re: Polo/Ralph Lauren Baby Clothes
Yes, super small. Cole came home in a RL onepiece that was 3 mos. He was only 5 pounds and it fit him the same way the Carters preemie onesies fit.

Re: Polo/Ralph Lauren Baby Clothes
Maybe it was a little off. DD was 9lbs 4 oz at birth and 20 inches - and in the 90th percentile for the first 4 months and 75th for height for the first few months and although they do run small for her the Ralph lauren has been true to size.
Honestly I think all kids are a little different b.c we know a few other kids who are DD's height and weight and they wear bigger sizes than she does so who knows.

Re: Polo/Ralph Lauren Baby Clothes
their clothes run really small by 6 months DD was in their 12 months clothes. 9 months would fit but you could tell it would not be for much longer

Re: Polo/Ralph Lauren Baby Clothes
There stuff runs sooo small! Someone got my a polo onesie with his monogram in a 3 month size that he was able to wear once and even so it was small. Such a shame because I obviously couldn't exchange it because it had is initials.
