Polyp Removed...now what?

Brenner removed a polyp from my uterus on Thursday. It was 1.5cm. He thought it might be interfering with implantation. The surgery was a breeze. However afterward, I asked Brenner if he thought this was the cause of my infertility and he said, "it is probably a contributing factor." That didn't sound too hopeful to me.

Has anyone gotten pregnant right after a polyp was removed? I am planning on starting Clomid next cycle and doing back to back IUIs.

I do...she got pregnant on her first cycle following the surgery. Good luck!!!

I had a uterine polyp removed in September and unfortunately, I am still not PG

My doctor told me pretty much the same thing as your doctor did - that it "may" be contributing to IF, but it is not the only cause of my IF.

I have done 2 Clomid/IUI cycles since the surgery (and 1 cycle before). The first was unsuccessful and I am 99% that the second was not successful (BFN at 14 dpiui and I think AF should be here any day).
