possibly a stupid question, but have to ask...
can my dog get a human intestinal virus? i'm a little nervous because my 4 month old just projectile vomited - i think he's getting the stomach bug going around - and i caught one of my dogs licking the vomit. i know... TMI...
is my dog going to be sick now too??

I think it's possible. I know my dog would sometimes get a cold that was going around my house when I was a kid.

its possible but not likely. most bacteria/viruses can't be spread across species. I wouldn't worry.

Only certain viruses/bacterium can spread from humans to animals & vice versa. I'd just watch closely and take the dog to the vet at the first sign of anything.
