We have a super ecelctic tree with no "sets" of ornaments. A lot are made by the kids. I think it is very festive and reminds me of when I was a kid.

love your tree. Your house actually has a similiar set up to mine. This is a random question but here did you get that bench with the wicker baskets? Ive been looking for something like it for the longest time!
I actually got it at Overstock! It was like 80 bucks...Thank you!

LOVE these pics! We're getting our tree this weekend, our first real one! 
Instead of posting last year's tree I will wait since it will be a real tree, AND since it is our first Christmas in our new place

2010 tree

I saw them on Overstock too, I got mine from Netshops which is now Hayneedle
The first one came with some semi-minor damage and they sent a replacement immediately. They never wanted the old bench back so I gave it to my parents.
We use BB&B fabric baskets in it instead of wicker. The wicker ones we had scratched the bottom of the cubby when we'd move them.
