Post-clomid - change in cycle?
We're taking this month off from docs and so its my first month off clomid and using ovirdrel. I have always ovulated on my own, the clomid and ovidrel were just for the IUIs. Im still using OPKs this month though and haven't yet gotten a positive - its Day 15. Usually I'd ovulate by now, for those who were on clomid and if you went off it - were your cycles different at first? If so, how long before you were back to your old cycles? Also, could the OPKs just not be working? I felt my usual O pains mid-week. TIA!

Re: Post-clomid - change in cycle?
I was on Clomid in December. Didn't use any treatments in January. I felt my cycle was longer-Oed later and got my period a few days later. I always get O pains and I was feeling them for a while before I Oed.

Re: Post-clomid - change in cycle?
I was on clomid for 5 days this cycle, did the IUI day 13. Im waiting for AF to come (hopefully not) but right now i have no AF symptoms i normally get.
the acne isnt bad, no bloating, no backaches, no boob soreness. I have no idea if this is from the clomid or not. Its the only month i've felt different and 1st time on clomid.
i felt tons of pains in both sides before and after O...maybe you're just O'ing later as your body gets used to not having clomid.
I would keep testing!!

Re: Post-clomid - change in cycle?
I'm not in your situation but my doc told me that clomid can delay natural ovulation a bit, and that it's effects can change your cycles even after stopping. So you prob just haven't ovulated yet- keep testing.
